I have over 22 years of work experience in the development sector (education, skills development) working with some national and international development organizations (Plan, World Vision, SDC, BBC World Service Trust, Save the Children, DFID). My experiences range from working extensively in the grassroots, developing and implementing modules for providing education services to disadvantaged groups, to attending policy dialogue and reforms at the national level. The various portfolios that I held have allowed me to expand my understanding of the dynamics and intricacies of development, design and planning, implementation (including monitoring, evaluation) and management of education programs, especially in a developing country context.

I have a wide range of education sector experiences for more than 17 years working in leadership, management and implementation positions, as team leader/manager of major education programs. I have experience of managing/working with early grade literacy program, basic education program, early childhood development program, adult literacy program, university girls education program, ICT-aided education and School Improvement Program. My experience spreads over both with government schools and NGO-run schools/ adult literacy centers. European Union, DFID, USAID, DFAT, ERIKS and other bilateral and corporate donors are the key donors I have been dealing with. My experience in donor management includes proposal writing/reviewing, presenting to donors in formal meetings as well as in international fund raising events, leading the planning of major donor visits, overseeing donor reporting and so on. My long experience as an Education project implementer provides me with the technical competencies needed for running any range of education programs and with any sort of institutions. My Bachelor of Education (Honors) degree and Master degree in Education strengthens my ability to perform as an effective Leader in education sector.
